As you might have seen on our Facebook page, Deshima Sounds will be back at Anime 2011 (also known as ‘Animecon’). It is going to be a great party with your favorite Deshima Sounds deejays, with extra support from a bunch of Deshima Sounds friends.
The main Deshima Sounds party will be held on the 6th of May in the Ravelzaal of Theaterhotel Almelo. The Ravelzaal will aptly be named ‘Rave zaal’ for this event (or at least we’ll be calling it like that). The party will start at 21:00h, and will last until 01:00h.
As said, Deshima Sounds deejays Neodash Zerox and MK☆ will be there to show the anime loving crowd what a real party can be like. But they’re not alone. Supporting deejays ThaChez and Sumlepel are joining in too. And as a super special guest RAVEMAN of Aural Vampire was shipped over from Japan to spin a track or two (or a lot more). Deshima Sounds teamed up with light jock Dnstje to give you a jawdropping laser show, for added effect. This surely isn’t an event you’d want to miss. You need a Friday-only or All-Weekend ticket to Anime 2011 to attend, which you can get at the Anime 2011 ticket booth.
But that won’t be all the partying we’ll be doing at Anime 2011. No sir! On Saturday the 7th of May there will be an after party, which will be held outside. Yes, outside the Theaterhotel. The exact location isn’t decided for sure yet, but it will probably be at the plaza in front of the entrance. The parapara workshop will be held there too. You can come up to us and tell us your requests. You can even bring your own songs, and we’ll play them. There will be a little charge for that, but all the money that’s collected will be send to Japanese Red Cross, to help victims of the big earthquake and tsunami.
The after party will be available for everyone, free of charge. Yes, you don’t need an Anime 2011 ticket to witness the after party. It will be held from 11:00h to 16:00h, and the parapara workshop will take place during the after party, so it won’t be all music but a little learning how to dance too. Your deejays for the after party will be Neodash Zerox and MK☆.
The after party isn’t completely confirmed, and won’t be until we actually start. Because if the weather is bad, we’ll have to cancel it. Lets hope for a great sunny day!
